What ages is Song Puzzles designed for?

Song Puzzles is designed for children ages 4 and up. The Starter kit is perfect for ages 4–7, while the Family and Custom kits are enjoyed by children up to age 12 and beyond. Older children and even adults love the challenge of more complex melodies.

Can I request a song in any language?

Yes! Song Puzzles can convert the lyrics of any song from any language or culture into a brick pattern. We have 150+ songs already in our library, and our Custom kit lets you send us any song — a lullaby, a folk song, a family anthem — in any language.

Does my child need to know how to read music?

Absolutely not. Song Puzzles uses colour-coded bricks instead of music notation. Each pitch gets its own colour, so children follow the visual pattern naturally — no music theory required. Many children actually start learning music theory through the puzzle without realising it.

How long does it take to build a Song Puzzle?

Most children complete a Starter kit song in 20–45 minutes. The Family kit songs are slightly longer and take 45–90 minutes. Many children rebuild their favourite songs multiple times — which is where the musical memory really forms.
